The Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) was formed in 2014 with the aim to promote self-employment through training programs. It prepares youth for jobs across sectors including manufacturing, infrastructure development, agriculture, etc. The ministry is committed to creating a pool of skilled manpower in India by providing funding support to various institutions o?ering training courses related to di?erent skills required in di?erent sectors such as the IT/ITES industry etc., It includes both graduate level courses such as engineering or management degrees along with vocational education would be o?ered through these institutions at subsidized prices. Skill Based Education will be Bene?cial To begin with, skill-based education is bene?cial for both employers and employees.
