  1. Balanced Homework To Students THINKING ABOUT THE STUDENTS

  2. OVERVIEW OF THE SLIDE Talking about the kind of homework students receive has become crucial today considering the pressure we see them in. We especially shouldn't forget that they are school students in their most crucial stage of brain development and creativity construction. While homework is an important aspect of learning that ensures the students are gaining the knowledge given by teachers, excess of homework can be another issue. To understand better, we'll be seeing the problems that associate with giving excessive homework and thereby, some potential benefits of giving a balanced homework to students.

  3. PROBLEMS WITH EXTRA HOMEWORK 1. No time left After 6 hours of schooling everyday, students hardly get any time to play and relax if their rest of the day is also captured with extra homework. If the youth from an early age doesn't get time to refresh itself, they'll adapt themselves to being in a constant state of pressure and stress, which is wrong. The school life is the most important time in a student's life where he/she gains some irreplaceable experiences and memories, for which they must get free time.

  4. 2. Degraded Performance If the students are learning for 6 hours straight in school then again doing school homework for 2-3 hours, it can make them feel fatigued and uninterested. They're kids and not machines, even a machine's output quality degrades with excessive wear and tear. Such a situation can give rise to mental problems including low self-esteem.

  5. 3. Lost Motto The motive of homeworks are to test the knowledge grasping abilities of the students. But when receiving excessive homework everyday, students will tend to just complete them rather than understanding and learning from them. So the ultimate motive of homeworks are lost and they just become useless with further bad effects. Huge pressure from an early age often leads to negative behavioural changes in a lot of students which should be avoided at all costs.

  6. BENEFITS OF BALANCED HOMEWORK 1. Better Learning A balanced homework will enhance the learning ability of students when they realise that they have free time despite of having homework. The ease of completing homework will act as a small motivation to get it done first then go to play. This can later evolve into a healthy habit.

  7. 2. Enhances Creativity While we can see in our work life, that if we have work balance then it favors creativity, the same happens for students. If they get free time for their leisure, they'll be more likely to explore the creative aspect of life. This will also encourage them to try new things. Idea Invention Inventor

  8. 3. Better Performance With balanced homework and not excessive pressure on the young minds, they'll be more like to give better performance as it will be an ideal environment for them. Also, the kids will be able to develop good relation and bond with their family members and neighbourhood friends thereby, improving their social skills.

  9. THE CONCLUSION STANDS THAT GIVING A BALANCED HOMEWORK TO STUDENTS WOULD BE BETTER FOR THEIR DEVELOPMENT
