  1. How to deal with the challenging questions asked in the PMP Certification exam? After months of studying for the PMP Exam prep by taking courses and reading exam guide books, the next step is to take the PMP Exam itself! Whether you believe you need more test preparation or are optimistic in your ability to pass the exam, the following tips from PMP accredited candidates and teachers are often useful. 4 Tips you can practice for answering PMP Exam questions correctly Understand the question types. There are various types of question styles asked in the examination, which are designed to test your skills, knowledge, and understanding of project management concepts. Some of the major question formats include – short and direct, scenario and situational based, lengthy, formula-based, and ITTO questions. Read the questions carefully. This is specifically crucial for lengthy type questions. Read carefully and look for keywords that would have a direct impact on the correct answer. Most likely, least likely, Not, Best, and except are some of the keywords you must pay attention to. Read the question twice. Understand the core information of the question. Going through lengthy questions will take up a significant amount of time, not to mention the time taken to understand the primary information required answering the question. Read the last sentence of the question-and- answer choice first. Use the best option, for the situational based questions. These situational types of questions are usually lengthy and also trickier. There is no correct answer is usually, 2 to 3 options are reasonable or logical. They will ask you to identify – the best next course of action, the first thing to do, and the best response. Your task is to find the one, which best fits – according to PMI’s point of view. Remember to make use of correct formulas, since the PMP has a closed book exam. It is recommended to spend the first 10 minutes of the exam, writing down all the important formulas on a scrap paper provided at the exam centre. Going through the mandatory PMP Certification trainingis also an effective pathway to enhance your confidence level to tackle the 200 MCQs.
