  2. 1. Ensure you are qualified: Determine your eligibility for PMP Certification by visiting PMI’s official website. Check out the prerequisites and exam details.

  3. 2. Go through the PMP Handbook: The PMP Handbook will answer all your queries about PMP application process, exam format and details, eligibility, fee, and renewal.

  4. 3. Join PMI: There are numerous benefits of becoming a PMI member. Discount of exam fee, free study material and seminars, access to PMBOK 7th Edition are some of them.

  5. 4. Prepare for the exam: Make a solid study plan for your PMP Exam prep. Use PMBOK as your core study material. It usually takes around 3-4 months to effectively prepare for the PMP exam.

  6. 5. Complete your application: Complete and submit your exam application on the official PMI website. You have 90 days to submit your application once started. Proofread it. https://www.educationedge.ca/

  7. 6. Pay the exam fee: Once you have submitted your exam application – it is time to pay the fee. The cost of PMP application is US$ 405 for members, and US$ 555 for non-members.

  8. 7. Schedule your PMP Exam: Locate and schedule your exam center. You have one year to take the PMP exam, upon submitting the exam fee. Prepare and ace the exam.

  9. 8. Maintain your PMP: You are required to renew your PMP Certification every 3 years. You must earn 60 PDUs and submit your renew application and fee.
