  1. Virtual Learning in Cambridge Schools during COVID Virtual Learning in Cambridge Schools during COVID- -19 Pandemic 19 Pandemic The Covid-19 coronavirus outbreak has put the world in lockdown. People have been asked to stay at home by the government to prevent the spread of the virus. Since the pandemic has disrupted the normal lifestyle of people across the globe, the virtual world has come to the rescue. Schools are shut all across the world to prevent the spread of the virus and children are out of the classroom. This has given way to online classrooms, a very new concept in India even for the most sophisticated schools. As a result, education has changed dramatically, and there is a distinct rise of e-learning, whereby teaching is undertaken remotely and on digital platforms. With this sudden shift away from the classroom in many parts of the world, some are wondering whether the adoption of online learning will continue to persist post-pandemic, and how such a shift would impact the worldwide education market. Cambridge International School Pune is the centre for excellence and they are also offering e-learning to students. Virtual classrooms are the future. Many parents are of the view that online classes are a good option because of the present coronavirus situation, but a lot of time is being spent by kids before screens which is unhealthy. The screen time will increase and you can never replace the good old socializing between students in person. But learning might become convenient, with the children comfortable in their own space. Constraints of long learning hours can be replaced with interspersed learning and self-exploration. Teachers in Cambridge International School Pune are also playing an indispensable role here. Virtual classrooms can be a challenge for teachers who aren’t used to technology, but choosing technology over their share of experience and expertise cannot be called development. Teachers are aware that "Change is the only constant, and they have to strive to maintain a balance between technology and older values". Cambridge International School Pune is emphasizing that online course needs contents preparation and modern educational technology (Video/audio/mixed) for teachers to connect the content with students. The success of online courses is the engagement of students. The knowledge component is more natural to deliver in online mode. Teachers and schools are putting extra effort to engage students in classes by revamping timetables, shifting discussions online, taking feedback from parents, and monitoring students constantly. Cambridge International School Pune is also sorting out the timetable according to subject weightage, spread across the entire week. They are also ensuring that everything starting from attendance to giving assignments to students is done similarly as their regular classroom so students don’t have to struggle to cope up.

  2. Cambridge International School Pune is constantly sending out circulars and SMSs, conducting parent orientation and checking mechanisms where the senior teachers are reviewing classes and gathering feedback to improve them in the future. Parents can visit the website for all the relevant details and information. It is clear that this pandemic has utterly disrupted an education system, however, if online learning technology can play a role here, it is incumbent upon all of us to explore its full potential.
