Private Investigation • On May 19, 2008 at 10:00 pm, Denise Bridwell, Dawn Winebright, and Lisa Livingston conducted a formal investigation at a private residence located on Wirt Street in Springfield, IL. • Said home owner stated there had been strange occurrences in a variety of locations in the house since they had started remodeling it two years ago. • Most of the activity centers around tools and supplies that occasionally come up missing, a definite eerie feeling by the owner in the basement, and reactions of her dogs to unseen things in both the basement, the front bedroom and in the kitchen area. • The weather conditions were cool with the night temperature in the 60s. The lunar condition was a full moon, which was at the request of the homeowner. • The home condition is in full reconstruction. Since taking ownership of the home, the owners have gutted the entire house and have been slowly remodeling it over the last couple years. • As related to the previous bullet, the basement window is missing, which allows access to the home for rodents and bugs. Ironically, there was no evidence of spider webs, bugs or rodents in the home, which is unusual.

  3. Private Investigation • History of the home revealed the owner’s parents both passed away in the home, one in the front bedroom and the other in the front living room area. Additional history is currently being researched. • As previously mentioned, the owner indicated most of the activity centers around tools that seem to move on their own. The owner would be using a tool, set it down for a couple of minutes, go to pick it up and it would be gone. During these times, the owner would search for the tool and locate it in another part of the house they had not been in that day or would find it next door in the house they are currently living in. • Video and still pictures were taken by all three investigators in all areas of the home. • There was no evidence of any EVP activity. • While there was limited evidence of paranormal activity via film, video, or EVP there was evidence of something in the house when watching the actions and reactions of the owner’s dogs to things we were not able to see with physical eyes. • An investigation is being planned for the fall during another full moon phase.
