Updated Marine Biology Course Proposal

This marine biology course proposal updates the existing UC-approved curriculum to enhance course content and activities. Teachers Shirley Ford and Sandra Starr collaborated on the revisions and obtained approval from the 7-12 Science Articulation Committee and Curriculum Council. The objective is to equip students with a comprehensive understanding to make informed decisions. The course covers ocean exploration, life foundations, water systems, energy dynamics, ocean floor, coastal processes, and marine environment outlook. Practical components include aquarium maintenance, live studies, dissections, field trips, and habitat projects. Approval is recommended by the involved stakeholders.
