Some lessons learned from GreenStream’s operations in international markets • From any markets: • The offering of an SME must be exceptional • The markets must fit together with the company strategy • Timing must match the market needs • The target must be clear from the beginning • The strategy of the company must be clear • Acknowledge the competition • Do not trust that tomorrow is like today! • In China (& other developing markets): • Design the product for the local clients & be flexible • Make sure your resources are sufficient • Financial • Management and other resources • Look for maximum visibility: Governmental & other high-level support is crucial • Networking and teaming up is important • Set the targets high and move fast • Do not give up too early, do not continue too long!
