  3. Three things you need to know about your computer while being involved in a hybrid teaching environment. • Download • Create • Upload

  6. Time Management You will do at least as much work in a hybrid course as in a regular traditional face-to-face course.

  7. Teaching Medical Terminology Do’s Don'ts Avoid internet sources for medical terminology explanations or information. Use Wikipedia or any other .com. Baby your students and hinder their learning abilities. • Open up your students to online sources • Introduce Cinhal, EBSCO, Pub Med and other viable online sources including your university library. • Give your students medical terms you know they have to research.

  8. Take responsibility for becoming a Life Long Learner It is important to remember that as an educator you must be open to learning from your students.

  11. Discussion Threads Discussion Threads are a great way to stay in touch with your students and gain insight to their knowledge.

  12. Email Email is private communication between student and teacher. Email needs to be checked on a daily basis.

  13. Power Point Presentations • Power Point Presentations need to be professional at all times. • Make sure to check and recheck your Power Point Presentation for grammatical errors before uploading to the classroom.

  14. This tool is a place were students can upload papers, and all other materials that need to be graded. • Turnitin.com can be linked to the Drop Box to verify if the students work is original. Drop Box

  15. Grades Grades are very important to students so make sure all grades are posted in a timely manner. Grade calculators are easy to add and will tally the students progress through the course.

  16. Quizzes Online quizzes can be modified to randomly choose answers so that no one student has the same questions.

  17. Multiple Test given • Online Test can have questions picked at random • Lock Down Browser • Half online and Half in class Test

  18. Videos/Pod Cast • Record your face-to-face classes. • Great for review. • Students unable to attend can participate with the class. • Educator review. • Critiquing tool on lesson delivery and visual aides.

  19. Curriculum Review • Is your Curriculum right for a hybrid course. • Have you set up your curriculum so that it is easy to access. • Can your curriculum be changed from a face-to-face classroom to a hybrid classroom.
