  2. Mission Statement The mission of the Latino HIV Task Force is to help raise awareness, increase testing opportunities, educate, prevent, and link to care for HIV/AIDS in the Latino community.

  3. Objective of LHTF Mission • To decrease the rate of HIV/AIDS in Latino men who have sex with men (MSM) • To decrease the rate of HIV/AIDS in Latina women • To decrease the rate of HIV/AIDS in Latino groups of all ages • To link Latinos into proper HIV care to decrease an AIDS diagnosis in the community

  4. Plan of Action • Increase HIV awareness, education, testing and linkage to care within the Latino Communities • Increase community partnership and volunteerism • Increase informative resources to medical and social services to facilitate appropriate referral for HIV positive individuals
