  2. Bicep Brachii • Origin: Coracoid process and tubercle above glenoid cavity of scapula • Insertion: Radial tuberocity • Long Head • Short Head

  3. Motion: Flexes forearm at elbow and rotates hand laterally • Uses: Picking up a shopping bag or doing curls while weight lifting

  4. TricepBrachii • Origin: Tubercle below glenoid cavity and the lateral and medial surfaces of the Humerus • Insertion: Olecrenon process of the Ulna 1. Long head 2. Lateral head 3. Medial head

  5. Motion: Extends forearm elbow • Uses: Pushing a door closed or extending your arms while bench pressing

  6. Brachioradialis • Origin: Distal and lateral ends of the Humerus • Insertion: Lateral surface of Radius above Styloid process

  7. Motion: Flexes forearm at elbow • Uses: Turning a door knob or reverse curls
