  2. Definition! Perimeter is the distance around a shape. Area is the space inside or taken up by the shape. Area=( ) BxH Perimeter=the sum of all the sides.

  3. 5 in 5 in h=4 in b=6 in Example/ Drawing Perimeter = 16 in(5+5+6) Area = 12 in2(6x4)/2

  4. Question Figure out what the perimeter and area of the triangle? 10 in 10 in h=8 in b=12 in

  5. Solution The area of the triangle is 48in2 because 12x8=96 and then follow the formula and you divide it by 2 and you get 48in2. The perimeter is 32in because if you add all the slides up you get 32in.
