  2. Structural Glazed Tile Structural Glazed Tile (SGT), commonly referred to as Glazed Block, are ceramic glazed hollow masonry units for loadbearing and non-loadbearing wall applications. SGT can be used as structural walls, partition walls, multi-wythe walls or veneers. The ceramic finish is available in wide palette of colors or can be custom ordered.

REQUIREMENTS The following ASTM Standards apply: • ASTM C-126 Ceramic Glaze Chemical Resistant Fade Resistant Impervious Finish that is fires into the body of the fireclay unit at over 2000*F. • Chip Resistant Never peels or needs refinishing Fire Resistant Zero Smoke Density Zero Flame Spread Zero Toxic Fumes Impact Resistant ASTM C-126 and/or ASTM C-652 Physical Properties Load Bearing and Non-Load Bearing applications

  16. DELIVERY, STORAGE, HANDLING Deliver SGT to jobsite as packaged by manufacturer. Offload SGT packages using equipment that will not damage SGT. No SGT is allowed to be in direct contact with the ground. Do not double stack cubes of SGT. Cover SGT with non-staining waterproof membrane covering. Keep units dry. Allow air circulation around stacked units. Installation of wet or stained SGT is prohibited.
