Investment in transformation Facilitated process – Managing Diversity and Wim Appointment of external facilitator – Laetoli Overall purpose - to enhance the process of entry and integration of women in mining (WIM) in line with the Mining Charter Workshop – February 2012: • Legislation of WiM • Creation of the Paradigm shift • Expected male behaviour towards female colleagues • Procedure to follow when sexual harassment occurs • The workshop’s purpose - supporting the WiM process through changing mindsets and building knowledge amongst relevant stakeholders.

Investment in transformation Philosophy underpinning the WiM workshop All have to attend MAIN POINTS OF DEPARTURE • This is NOT a War of the Sexes • This is NOT an anti-male workshop • Both men and women are victims of unfair discrimination, although women more than men • Men and women has a stake in the success of WiM • Making WiMwork for the mines (Kolomela, Sishen, Thabazimbi) means that both men and women must change the way they think and feel about WiM
