  6. 10/1 - Project Management: Karla Trotman on Communication • Teleconference at 6 pm in 217 Business (5 Corporate Relations Points, dress is casual) • Karla will speak with us regarding the importance of communication in Project Management. • Karla is a ’98 Logistics Grad working for Electro Soft, Inc. and has her own business, BellyButtonBoutique.com

  7. 10/3 – Dunk Tank benefiting THON • 10 am – 5 pm on Hub Lawn • Set up at 9 am • 5 points for donating • $1 for 1 throw, $3 for 5 throws • Looking for volunteers! • Get dunked – 10 points • Advertising shift – 5 points for one hour, maximum of 15 points • Help Addy with managing the event

  8. 10/6 – Day of Service • Leave at 8 am, back by 4 pm – 10 Community Service Points • Working on farm • Breakfast, Lunch, and Transportation provided

  9. 10/9 – Techtronic Industries Information Session • 6 pm in 13 Life Sciences (5 Corporate Relations Points, Business Casual) • Andrew Mieczkowski from Techtronic Industries Inc. will speak about the company and the career opportunities they have to offer

  10. 10/10 - Hayride • Meet at Hub to take the Bus at 8:30 pm (5 Social points) • $20 If you already paid dues, $25 if not • PSMA will be joining us!

  11. IM Football Reminder • Starts 10/7 (next Monday), 8 pm. • 3 Social points per game, maximum of 15 points

Community Service Reminders • Box Top Collection • Look for them on household items • 3 points for every 5 box tops • 15 point maximum • Football Pick’em (5 Community Service points) • Pick winners of NFL football games each week • $10 to enter, goes to • Winner at end of season gets gift card

  14. Pipeline • The challenge is to transport a marble via pipeline from point A to point B • As many as you can in the allotted time. Every member of the group has access to only 1 piece of the pipeline per round and the ball must pass through each person’s piece at least once. • Pieces of the pipeline cannot overlap • Participants cannot touch the ball at any point

Pipeline (continued) • The ball must be kept in continuous motion at all times • If the ball is dropped or the rules are broken, the group must begin again at point A with the clock running • Participants cannot move their feet when the ball is in their piece of the pipeline • The ball must stay in the pipeline

  20. Mentoring Program • Meet with an exec board member or senior member of PMA throughout the semester to discuss being successful at Penn State and in your career • Open to anyone who would like to join • Tell an Exec Board member if you are interested at end of the meeting
