  1. הכנה לג' תמוז היום יום DAY-BY-DAY Day Six: Monday, כ"ה סיון

  2. הכנה לג' תמוז Gimmel Tammuz is coming our way, What are we doing to prepare for this day? As always the BnosChabad has a Hachana in store, It’s connected to Hayom Yom, but wait! There’s more! The Rebbe compiled the thoughts of each day, And we will be learning them, in a creative way. Each morning, when you log onto class you will see, A slideshow Hachana on the board for you and for me. You’ll read the Hayom Yom and discuss it too, The main thing – you’ll see what ACTION you can do, That connects to that day’s thought and to Moshiach as well, And you’ll fill out a form – what did you do? Please tell! Submit your form, and then you can grin, Because who knows? The raffle you may win! 

  3. Dearest class, I just had to sit down and write to remind you of something very important to me. I LOVE YOU.    I saw you talking with your friends yesterday, and I so wanted to talk to you also. I waited all day, but you never called.  I hoped we could find the time to talk in the evening, but I know you had a lot of other things on your mind.    As your day drew to a close, I sent a cool breeze to make you feel refreshed after a long day. I put a special scent in the air from the flowers near the driveway, but I guess you didn't notice as you hurried by. I'm sad to see you rush so.     When you awoke this morning, I hoped we could have a little time together. I so wanted to rush down and talk with you, but you had to hurry off to school without talking to me. My tears were in the rain.

  4.  I have so many gifts for you, so much to tell you, so many wonderful things for you to experience because I love you so much. My nature is like that, you know.    Please call me, talk with me -- ask me for help. I know the deepest desires of your heart and I so want to be close to you. My love for you is deeper than the oceans, greater than you can imagine. I long for us to share some time together ~ just the two of us.    It hurts me to see you look so sad today. I really understand what it's like for friends to let you down. I know your heart aches.   I'll close for now because I know you are very busy, and I certainly don't want to bother you. You are free to choose me, my way or not, it's your decision ~ I've already chosen you. Please don't be too long, and remember: I LOVE YOU!

  5. Your Friend,   HASHEM

  6. היום יום: כ"ג אייר ראשית הירידה, ר"ל, הוא העדר העבודה בתפילה, עם ווערט אלץ טרוקען און קאלט, The beginning of one’s decline, G-d save us, is the lack of avoda in davening. Everything becomes dry and cold.

  7. היום יום: כ"ג אייר Menucha stared glumly at the siddur in her hands, Why she had to daven, she didn’t understand. It was so boring, and super super long, She didn’t like to daven, even though she knew it was wrong. She mumbled the words by heart, she really didn’t care, This whole davening thing seemed so unfair! The next day she wondered, why do I need to dress, In a tznius way, does it make my beauty less? The next day she wondered, why should I eat Kosher at all? Will it make my health better overall? Now, Menucha had a brother who was very wise,

  8. היום יום: כ"ג אייר He said, “Menucha what happened to your skirt’s size? You seem to be loosing it, what happened? How did it start?” Menucha didn't know how her feelings to impart. “I just don’t feel like doing it anymore, All these Mitzvos are such a bore!” “Ah,” said her brother, “How about this, Try to daven like a tzedekes. Give it all your got, lots of kavana and real slow, And IYH you will see your avoda grow.” Sure enough, that’s what happened to our friend, She is now a Chassidishe girl through the end. If you ask her how, she will say, “It was Kavana in davening that changed me today!”

  9. Story There are 2 people traveling. One is close to his goal, but he ran too fast and now he must sit and take a nap. The other is going at a slow, steady pace. Who do you think will reach their goal first?

  10. Story The one who is going slow and steady, because he is actually moving forward! Same is with Davening, says the Rebbe. You can only advance spiritually to Hashem when you feel how important Davening is. This is why Chassidim make a point of HachanaL’tfillah, through learning Chassidus.

  11. Poem – Let’s see if you can fill the blanks! I got up early one morning And rushed right into the day; I had so much to accomplish That I didn’t have time to _______ Problems just tumbled about me, And heavier came each task. “Why doesn’t Hashem help me?” I wondered. He answered, “You didn’t _____.” I wanted to see joy and beauty, But the day toiled on, gray and bleak; I wondered why Hashem didn’t show me. He said, “You didn’t ______.” I tried to come into Hashem’s presence; I used all my keys at the lock. Hashem gently and lovingly chided, “My child, you didn’t ______” I woke up early this morning, And paused before entering the day; I had so much to accomplish That I had to take time to ______.

He said, “You didn’t seek.” I tried to come into Hashem’s presence; I used all my keys at the lock. Hashem gently and lovingly chided, “My child, you didn’t knock.” I woke up early this morning, And paused before entering the day; I had so much to accomplish That I had to take time to pray.
