  6. 2.1 characteristics of Planning خصائص التخطيط • Closely associated with goals: • Implicit • Explicit • Concerned with forecasting of future. • Involves the selection of the best among several alternatives. ترتبط ارتباطا وثيقا الأهداف المعنية التنبؤ في المستقبل اختيار الأفضل من بين عدة بدائل.

  8. 2.4 Types of Plans أنواع الخطط • Consist of several individuals plans or components: • Standing plans: Objectives, Policies, Strategies and Procedures. • Single-use plans: Budgets, Targets and Quotas. Difference: standing plans used over along period of time while single-use used for specific time. تتكون من عدة أفراد أو خطط مكونات

  9. 2.4.1 Objectives • Broad objectives: States the purpose of the entire organization. • Objectives: Set by the Management and the first step in planning. الغرض من المنظمة بأكملها

  10. 2.4.2 Policies السياسات • General statements or understanding. • Provides guidelines in decision- making by subordinates. يقدم مبادئ توجيهية

  11. 2.4.3 Strategies استراتيجيات • Plans that take organization from a given position to another position. • The purpose of competitive strategy is to encounter the forces of competitors. الخطط التي تتخذ المنظمة من موقف معين إلى موقف آخر. الغرض من الاستراتيجية التنافسية هي تواجه قوى من المنافسين
