This study investigates the usage and awareness of QR codes among college students. Through a survey of 129 participants, we explored demographics, familiarity with QR codes, and their applications in various sectors, such as education, entertainment, and healthcare. The findings reveal that over half of the students own a QR scanner, with significant interaction with QR codes for diverse purposes, including mobile gaming, promotions, and even safety measures for missing children. Understanding QR code utilization trends can inform marketing and engagement strategies for this demographic.
