Plant reproduction is the production of new individuals or offspring in plants, which can be accomplished by sexual or asexual means.
Plants have two main types of asexual reproduction in which new plants are produced that are genetically identical clones of the parent individual.
Seed dispersal is the movement or transport of a seed away from the parent plant. Three ways of dispersal are by either animals , water and wind, the most common few.
Seed dispersal is likely to have several benefits for plant species. First, seed survival is often higher away from the parent plant. This higher survival may result from the actions of density-dependent seed and seedling predators.
