Central Data Recording

The responsibility for Central Data Recording (CDR) is now with the Technology for Experiments (TE) section, led by Ben Segal. Requests for CDR services should be directed to Leanne Guy, Bernd Panzer, or cdr support at CERN. The CMS testbeam coordinator, Emmanuel Tsesmelis, must be informed of all CDR requests. A comprehensive schedule must be maintained, detailing database requirements, HPSS/tape needs, expected data rate, total data volume, and a designated contact person for each testbeam to facilitate efficient data management.
