  3. Scene 1-“No One Mourns the Wicked”

  4. “No One Mourns the Wicked” Dark, bold, drabby colors Maroons, browns, tans, dark greens Tall hats, glasses, wigs, long trench coats, black boots, fingerless gloves

  5. Scene 2, 4, 5, 6-“Dear Old Shiz”, “What is This Feeling?”, “Something Bad”, “Dancing Through Life (Part 1)” Luggage and plain hardcover books are needed for ensemble in scene 2 only. If you have extra to spare, please let me know.

  6. Notes on Shiz University Costumes • The school colors are navy blue and white and either solids or stripes can be implemented.-Boys- find navy blue or white pants. Definitely ties. - Jackets, vests, anything goes. • Girls can wear ties, too. • Remember, you are preppy collegiate students.

  7. Scene 6- “Dancing Through Life” (Part 2) Ozdust Ballroom

  9. -Girls need to wear different assortments of black and white such as stripes with polka dot leggings-Boys need to wear a white shirt along with black pants, and jacket. • Leotards and skirts, flowy dresses, and black character shoes (strap around ankle).

  10. Scene 8- “Dillamond’s Classroom” *** The costumes for Dillamond’s Classroom are the same as the Shiz University uniforms.

  11. Scene 10-Emerald City “One Short Day” Green, Green, Green!!!

  12. Extreme dresses, coats, hats, jackets, and wigs. • Props: Flags, Feather boas, batons, umbrellas, canes, ribbons, and glasses.

  15. Scene 11 -“Defying Gravity”

  16. Defying Gravity- Ozians • The same costumes for “No One Mourns the Wicked” and “March of the Witch Hunters” apply here.

  20. Scene 4- “Wizard’s Palace”-Monkeys and Guards

  21. Flying Monkeys • Brown unitards and monkey masks. • I will discuss more ideas with the girls.

  22. The Guards Green police-style costumes (jackets) and armor.

  23. Scene 8- “March of the Witch Hunters” Same as Act 1 Scene 1 Props are sticks, canes, and torches

  24. Scene 11- Finale • Same as Scene 1
