Scene 2, 4, 5, 6-“Dear Old Shiz”, “What is This Feeling?”, “Something Bad”, “Dancing Through Life (Part 1)” Luggage and plain hardcover books are needed for ensemble in scene 2 only. If you have extra to spare, please let me know.
Notes on Shiz University Costumes • The school colors are navy blue and white and either solids or stripes can be implemented.-Boys- find navy blue or white pants. Definitely ties. - Jackets, vests, anything goes. • Girls can wear ties, too. • Remember, you are preppy collegiate students.
-Girls need to wear different assortments of black and white such as stripes with polka dot leggings-Boys need to wear a white shirt along with black pants, and jacket. • Leotards and skirts, flowy dresses, and black character shoes (strap around ankle).
Scene 8- “Dillamond’s Classroom” *** The costumes for Dillamond’s Classroom are the same as the Shiz University uniforms.
Scene 10-Emerald City “One Short Day” Green, Green, Green!!!
Extreme dresses, coats, hats, jackets, and wigs. • Props: Flags, Feather boas, batons, umbrellas, canes, ribbons, and glasses.
Defying Gravity- Ozians • The same costumes for “No One Mourns the Wicked” and “March of the Witch Hunters” apply here.
“Thank Goodness”- Cont’d • The same costume from “One Short Day”.
Flying Monkeys • Brown unitards and monkey masks. • I will discuss more ideas with the girls.
The Guards Green police-style costumes (jackets) and armor.
