  1. Simple Machines Simple machines help make work easier. Four Simple Machines are the pulley, lever, wheel and axle and inclined plane.

  2. Wheel and Axle A wheel and axle moves things from place to place. A Razor Rip Rider 360 has a wheel and axle.

  3. Lever Levers are simple machines used to lift weights. A Crowbar is a lever.

  4. Pulley A pulley is made of a wheel and a rope, and lets you move up, down, and sideways. A flagpole is an example of a pulley.

  5. Inclined Plane An inclined plane is a flat surface that is higher on one end than the other. A slide is an example of an inclined plane.
