Vaping is the name given to the activity of inhaling vapours of a flavoured liquid; it is largely similar to smoking. The only difference between the two is that vaping liquids come in many flavours, and that in vaping you don’t inhale any smoke – only vapours. This can be the primary reason why vaping is considered relatively “healthier” than smoking. Smoking causes ashes and other burnt particles to get inhaled with every breath, getting deposited in the lungs. This is particularly harmful for the lungs as it causes impediments in absorption of oxygen, which further causes other problems like loss of breathing capacity, tiredness and exhaustion. A vape liquid is considered safer to inhale as compared to smoking. The medium used for vaping is vapour, which does not contain any burnt matter. On the top side, the amount of nicotine contained in vaping liquids can be varied which makes it easier to control its intake and addiction. Although it hasn’t been verified whether or not it is actually healthy, vaping is certainly a heavy notch less harmful than smoking. A large fraction of population claims that they have been able to give up on smoking by taking up vaping instead. Vaping can thus safely be considered as a healthier alternative to smoking, in the form of something that helps you quit. Vaping is done using electronic or mechanical vape mods, which are easily available at any vape shop.
