  3. What do we do for the School of Medicine? • Testing (John will cover this at a later date; don’t worry) • Pilot Assistance (course content) • Classroom/lab support • Student support • Faculty/Staff curriculum support • Team Learning Support • Media Production

  4. ID numbers • Campus ID or “W” number (w001abc) • This is used to log into many services at WSU including email, labs, WebCT and Exams. • UID (U12345678) • Used to log into Wings Express and for identification instead of SSN. • Need this for Team Learning. Memorize it now!

  5. Computing Information • Getting Started • http://www.wright.edu/cats/studentzone.html • WINGS • Software • Anti-spam Services • Phishing (Never give out your password, ever.)

  6. MEDU Computer Labs • You must authenticate with your Campus ID to get off campus • REBOOT! Beware, this will delete any files saved to the computer • Print jobs will all say “labmac”. Name the file something you will recognize.

  7. Other Tidbits • Printer located floor 2 outside of 261 lab • Wireless printing • http://www.wright.edu/cats/printwright/index.html (157 and 261 White Hall) • Your Wright 1 Cards • Allows access to authorized student area secured doors • Printing • Food

  8. Pilot Web Site https://pilot.wright.edu/ • All course specific schedules and content will be located here • Video and audio files will be housed in iTunesU

  9. iTunesU • We have been working with CaTS to standardize video capture campus-wide. • Go to: http://www.wright.edu/itunes/ to enter WSU’s iTunesU feed.
