  1. THE INVISIBLE BEAST IS BACK

  2. REVELATION 11:1 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. 11:2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty [and] two months.

  3. 11:3 And I will give [power] unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred [and] threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. 11:4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. 11:5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.

  4. The periods here mentioned—“forty and two months,” and “a thousand two hundred and threescore days”—are the same, alike representing the time in which the church of Christ was to suffer oppression from Rome. The 1260 years of papal supremacy began with the establishment of the papacy in A. D. 538, and would therefore terminate in 1798. {Great Controversy p.266.2}

  5. 11:6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will. 11:7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.

  6. Revelation 11:8 And their dead bodies [shall lie] in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

  7. JOHN 5:39 “Search the scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me.

  8. Exodus 5:2 And Pharaoh said, Who [is] the LORD, that I should obey his voice to let Israel go? I know not the LORD, neither will I let Israel go. Egypt refers to atheism. Denial of the existence of God.

  9. GENESIS 19:4 But before they lay down, the men of the city, [even] the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter: • 19:5 And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where [are] the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.

  10. summary • The beast rises around 1798 • The beast is against the bible • The beast is atheistic • The beast shows sexual immorality and lawlessness This beast is FRANCE

  11. This prophecy has received a most exact and striking fulfillment in the history of France. During the Revolution of 1793, "the world for the first time heard an assembly of men, born and educated in civilization, and assuming the right to govern one of the finest European nations, uplift their united voice to deny the most solemn truth which man's soul receives, and renounce unanimously the belief and worship of the Deity."

  12. "France is the only nation in the world concerning which the authentic record survives, that as a nation she lifted her hand in open rebellion against the Author of the universe. Plenty of blasphemers, plenty of infidels, there have been, and still continue to be, in England, Germany, Spain, and elsewhere; but France stands apart in the world's history as the single State which, by the decree of her legislative assembly, pronounced that there was no God, and of which the entire population of the capital, and a vast majority elsewhere, women as well as men, danced and sang with joy in accepting the announcement." {GC p. 269.4}

  13. Beast from the abyss = France (invisible beast) This beast is invisible meaning its influence will be subtle and not easily noticed.

  14. At the same time anarchy is seeking to sweep away all law, not only divine, but human. The centralizing of wealth and power; the vast combinations for the enriching of the few at the expense of the many; the combinations of the poorer classes for the defense of their interests and claims; the spirit of unrest, of riot and bloodshed;

  15. the world-wide dissemination of the same teachings that led to the French Revolution--all are tending to involve the whole world in a struggle similar to that which convulsed France. Such are the influences to be met by the youth of today. {Education p. 228.2}

  16. 1. Transformism: by J.B larmack • Taught that man was not created but transformed over a period of time to what he is today from lower forms of life. • This idea was modified by Charles Darwin in the theory of evolution, that man evolved from simple forms of life…(1844) • Evolution theory sprung up from the abyss • Genesis 1:1(the two witnesses) In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

  17. Evolution: “When the environment changes, the species changes to adapt.” 1. Fashion: the devil will pollute the environment through the media, so that the species (youth) would change to adapt.

  18. Where does nakedness begin? • Exodus 28:42 “And thou shalt make them linen breeches to cover their nakedness; from the loins even unto the THIGHS THEY SHALL REACH.”

  19. In order to secure the most healthful clothing, the needs of every part of the body must be carefully studied…Everything worn should be so loose that when the arms are raised the clothing will be correspondingly lifted. • (Counsels to parents, teachers and students p. 306.2)

  20. “There is an increasing tendency to have women in their dress and appearance as near like the other sex as possible, and to fashion their dress very much like that of men, but God pronounces it abomination…those who feel called out to join the movement in favor of woman’s right and the so-called dress reform might as well sever all connection with the third angel’s message. The spirit that attends one cannot be in harmony with the other. The scriptures are plain upon the relations and rights of men and women.” 1 T457.3

  21. Consider the pictures. Who looks masculine of the two?

  22. Continued... If this was abomination, what shall be said of the next…?

  23. Continued... • What could be said of this? • Yet it is normal to wear it today! • Even by Christians to Church! • God forbid.

  24. “The influence of believer would be tenfold greater if men and women who accept the truth, who have been formally careless and slack in their habits, would be so elevated and sanctified through the truth as to observe habits of neatness, order, and good taste in their dress. Our God is a God of order, and He is not in any degree pleased with distraction, with filthiness, or with sin.” {Messages to Young People p. 349.3}

  25. Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. 1 Corinthians 7:31 “…for the fashionof this world passeth away.”

  26. 2. Skeptism by Voltaire Voltaire was a French play writer Voltaire used the THEATRE to attack God’s word. Do we see satire and mockery of God’s word from the theatre? 1. Holly wood ( movies and soap operas) 2. Nolly wood ( capital of spiritualism) 3. River wood (Tahidi high/mother in law etc or drama in church). All these sprung up from the bottomless pit

  27. desperate house wives

  28. Among the most dangerous resorts for pleasure is the theater. Instead of being a school for morality and virtue, as is so often claimed, it is the very hotbed of immorality. Vicious habits and sinful propensities are strengthened and confirmed by these entertainments. Low songs, lewd gestures, expressions, and attitudes deprave the imagination and debase the morals. Every youth who habitually attends such exhibitions will be corrupted in principle.

  29. There is no influence in our land more powerful to poison the imagination, to destroy religious impressions, and to blunt the relish for the tranquil pleasures and sober realities of life than theatrical amusements. {Adventist Home p. 516.2}

  30. Do not encourage the men who are to engage in this work to think that they must proclaim the solemn, sacred message in a theatrical style. Not one jot or tittle of anything theatrical is to be brought into our work.God's cause is to have a sacred, heavenly mold. Let everything connected with the giving of the message for this time bear the divine impress. Let nothing of a theatrical nature be permitted, for this would spoil the sacredness of the work. {Evangelism p. 137.2}

  31. Psalms 101:3 “ I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me” Job 31:1 “ I made a covenant with mine eyes: why then should I think upon a maid?” Romans 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress or famine, or nakedness, or peril or sword?

  32. 3. Voodoo 1492 Dec 5 Columbus discovered Espanola 1697 portion of Espanola becomes under France and is called saint Domingo the remaining part is called Santo Domingo 1600-1700 saint Domingo becomes a capital of slave trade which is a catholic ruled area. The slave were registered under the catholic faith but not allowed to read the two witnesses

  33. The slaves began a new religion called voodoo faith and the key figure of the voodoo faith was a serpent The most sacred part of the voodoo worship dealt with MUSICand the main instrument was the drum and their body would move to the music like a serpent. The slave owners banned voodoo but it survived still!!

  34. But how? “yet whenever possible, they (voodoo practitioners) would use the catholic rituals to carry out their own beliefs. Therefore when dancing and singing was abolished because of fear of the voodoo practices the enslaved voodoo believers would dance and sing to the catholic saints having them represent the voodoo spirits.” They put Christian words to voodoo rhythms and deceived their catholic owners

  35. 1791: A rebellion (revolution) of the slaves against their catholic owners after hearing of the revolution in France against the priests and the church. • After successful revolution the place changed its name from saint Domingo to Haiti (the capital of voodoo) • 1804: France sells Louisiana to America (the Louisiana purchase) and the thousands of voodoo practitioners move to Louisiana.

  36. They brought their music and it was used to prepare for sexual activity. Prostitution (Sodom) was legalized. It was then banned again but it mutated to adapt.

  37. 1. It changed to rag time. 2. Rag time changed to jazz (jazz is slung for sex) 3. Jazz changed into rhythm and blues 4. Rhythm and blues changed to the popular reggae music of Jamaica 5. Reggae changed to rock and roll 6. Rock and roll mutated into rap music and hip hop Whenever these music are ,there are two things: Egypt and Sodom

  38. Darwin’s theory of music according to sexual selection “Darwin considered music and dance to be the single best example of mate choice that having shaped human behavioral traits, that is, music is a complex biological adaptation and its primary function evolved to attract males for reproductive purposes” Consider 1. channel o 5. Dance 360 2. the beat 6. H2O 3. Street dance 7. Can you dance? 4. project fame

  39. Music from the bottomless pit

  40. 1 Corinthians 10:20-21 But I [say], that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils. • 10:21 Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils.

  41. 1 Samuel 15:20-22 • And Saul said unto Samuel, Yea, I have obeyed the voice of the LORD, and have gone the way which the LORD sent me, and have brought Agag the king of Amalek, and have utterly destroyed the Amalekites. • 15:21 But the people took of the spoil, sheep and oxen, the chief of the things which should have been utterly destroyed, to sacrifice unto the LORD thy God in Gilgal.

  42. 1 Samuel 15:22 And Samuel said, Hath the LORD [as great] delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey [is] better than sacrifice, [and] to hearken than the fat of rams.
