  4. What type is it? Hawaii Volcanoes National Park contains two active volcanoes at the present time. In this park is Mauna Loa, the world’s largest volcano. This park is about 229,000 acres in area. It was created in 1961 and extends eastward from the summit of Mauna Loa to the Pacific Ocean, passing a 30-mile section of the coast. Mauna Loa is 13,677 feet above sea level. Its submerged portion rises 20,000 feet above the seafloor. Kilauea, the park’s other active volcano, rises from the eastern flank of Mauna Loa to an elevation of just over 4,000 feet.

  5. What type is it? Women should be allowed to serve in military roles that involve fighting. First of all, war combat does not involve the great strength it once did. Computer technology, smaller electronic devices, and other new battle strategies make war less about strength and more about intelligence. Women are not fighting rifle to rifle. Some people insist that women on average have less upper-body strength than men, making them less suited for combat. However, some women surpass some men in upper-body strength. Although opponents feel forcing women to fight in the military is an attempt to change people’s attitudes about women, integrating women into the military is actually a reflection of current society.

  6. What type is it? This past weekend I had the time of my life. First, Friday night, I had my best friend over and we made a delicious, mouth-watering pizza. After we ate, we had a friendly video game competition. On Saturday, my dad took us out on the boat. The weather was perfect and the water was warm. It was a great day to go for a swim. Later that night, we went to the movies. We saw an action packed thriller and ate a lot of popcorn. Finally, on Sunday, we rode our bikes all over town. By the end of the day, my legs were very tired. I only hope that next weekend can be as fun as this one.
