Harmonizing Mauritius' Long-Term Development Plans: The ESTP Strategy Forward

This document outlines recommendations for Mauritius' Economic and Social Transformation Programme (ESTP), emphasizing its integration with existing national plans and the Medium-Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF). The ESTP seeks to achieve a sustainable balance between growth and equity over the next decade. Key strategies include enhancing national productivity, strengthening economic resilience, and addressing cross-cutting issues through five development axes: economic and social infrastructure, human capital, enterprise development, and social inclusion. The plan will incorporate stakeholder consultations, ensuring outcomes are measurable and aligned with the national vision.
