Overview • The STUC tool is a script that will gather important information about the Cisco Unity Connection Server that can assist in the trouble shooting process. • Can only be accessed through the CLI. • CLI first available in UCNX 8.0. • Is backwards compatible*, but requires manuals steps & remote support access. • Typically will be ran by a Cisco TAC or BU Escalation engineer. • Very similar to the Cisco Unity Gather Unity System Information Tool (GUSI). • Display output is to the console only (Cut/Paste or Buffer capture).

Trouble Shooting • Command doesn’t execute • Gather "/var/log/active/platform/log/cli*.log" • Operational errors after executing • Attempt to run under Remote Access Account (root) CLI • Gather console output • Enable debug output file by editing show-cuc-sysinfo file • - Gather /tmp/cuc-sysinfo file
