  2. A Remembrance Of Good Things That Have Been Ours • Being a child of God • Forgiveness of sins • Redemption • Prayer through Jesus Christ • Fellowship with one another • Spiritual family to encourage & admonish us • Confidence in the face of death

  3. A Separation Of The Righteous From The Unrighteous • Understanding the nature and importance of God’s separation (Luke 16:26; 2 Cor. 6:17, 18; 2 Cor. 6:14; 1 Cor. 15:33). • Separation is commanded by God (Rom. 16:17; 2 Thess. 3:6).

  4. A Desire To Enter Heaven • Those who really want to go to heaven will YEARN for heaven. • Those who really want to go to heaven will TURN toward heaven. Do You Really Want To Go To Heaven?

  5. A Personal Concern ForThe Lost • Rich man remembered his five unsaved brothers (Luke 16:27, 28). • Rich man had a “mental list” of prospects. • There was a sense of urgency.

What Must I Do To Become A Christian? • How To Become A Child of God? • Hear the gospel (Rom. 10:10) • Believe Jesus is the Christ (John 8:24) • Repent of sins (Luke 13:3) • Confess Christ (Matt. 10:32-33) • Be baptized for remission of sins (Acts 2:38) • Live a committed life (Rev. 2:10) • How To Be Restored Back To God? • Confess sin (James 5:16) • Repent and pray (Acts 8:22) • Renew your commitment (Rev. 2:4-5)
