  8. Selection of Forms/ Reporting If the district chooses option 3 (upload performance and student growth ratings), there is only the ability to upload the performance ratings and student growth measures.  No forms will be available.   MCESC Aug 1 2013, Administrators' Retreat

  9. Selection of Forms/ Reporting CLARIFICATIONS FOR LEAs USING OPTION 1 OR 2 Option 1:  Using only state forms, but can upload evidence Option 2:  Using some state forms, some upload of completed forms from the district, can upload evidence MCESC Aug 1 2013, Administrators' Retreat

  10. Selection of Forms/ Reporting Suppose a district chooses Option 1 or 2-  • MUST they use some forms?  If so, which ones and how any of them?  • Yes – For Option 1 they must have one Formal Observation and rating on the rubric, and one Observation and rating on the rubric for Option 2. This completes the step, and this rating(s) then populates the Final Summative. . MCESC Aug 1 2013, Administrators' Retreat

  11. Selection of Forms/ Reporting Suppose a district chooses Option 1 or 2-  • Can the district opt out of Option 1/ 2 at the end or just not use any forms and go directly to the process for ratings like option 3?   • No -They cannot opt out at the end.  They must use the above forms.  This minimum requirement means they have completed the step in the process. MCESC Aug 1 2013, Administrators' Retreat

  12. Selection of Forms/ Reporting Suppose a district chooses Option 1 or 2-  • Can the district use some of the forms along the way, but then also use the process that option 3 uses?  •  No -The district has to select an Option – that option then creates the workflow for the teacher/principal.  Option 3 does not provide any forms (so none appear in the workflow). MCESC Aug 1 2013, Administrators' Retreat

  13. Selection of Forms/ Reporting Suppose a district chooses Option 1 or 2-  • Can Option 2 only upload forms?  or do they have to use some OTES/ OPES forms?  If so, which ones and how many?       •  They have to enter a rating from their pdf. in one Observation rubric (at least one Formal Observation Rubric with rating) and attach that observation rubric with evidence and rating.   MCESC Aug 1 2013, Administrators' Retreat
