  40. Galaxies. A galaxy is a collection of billions of stars. Our galaxy is spiral shaped. The name for our galaxy is the Milky Way.

  41. Stars. A large ball of gas held together by gravity.

  42. Energy Production In Stars Most of the energy produced in stars results from nuclear fusion. Nuclear fusion is the combination of the nuclei of smaller elements to form the nuclei of larger elements. The sun converts Hydrogen into Helium. Nuclear fusion can only occur in extremely high temperature and high pressure conditions like those found in star interiors.
