Development and delivery of integrated, customized solutions Efficient and effective use of resources Current State: System – Organize/coordinate contact information collection and recruitment efforts Recruitment “box” Check Out Advancement of learning, innovation, and creativity Current State: Recruitment Meeting – SLP and SP, Links, Kim, George Developing targeted materials for use at upcoming events (recruitment “box”) Projected development of videos/website “portal” Current State: Learning – Market research (colleges, discipline groups, outside organizations) Innovation/Creativity – Target audiences, materials, technology Recruitment Spider Desired state: Proactive recruiting connecting with needs and interests of various generations of workers. A deep and wide applicant pool and strong AEA name recognition. Current State: Collection of contact information and follow-up Track applications – source of referral Feedback/survey from AEA “recruiters” Collect Data on use of Recruitment “boxes” Track hits to recruitment “portal”

  3. Recruitment Box/Packets • If an AEA employee is speaking to a class, they need to check out the Recruitment Box/Packets from Ann Kessler • Supplies: • Recruitment flyers (job specific for SLPs and SP) • Contact Information • Sign up sheet to get job posting updates

  4. Interns/Practicum Students • Provide names, contact information, and dates of experience • Kim will schedule face-to-face meeting and answer any questions • Follow up with them after their experience to provide information about job postings.

  5. Conferences/Recruitment Visits • If there is a state-wide conference with recruitment opportunites • Recruitment Team will be coordinated • One discipline lead • One recent graduate • Kim • Recruitment materials will be developed and available

  6. Induction • Desired State: • A system of strong, consistent opportunities for staff to build skills and knowledge both within their areas of expertise and in how to effectively integrate that expertise; a customized, flexible plan that addresses both individual and organizational needs.

  7. Renewal (Retention) • Desired state: • An integrated system of professional support and development enhancing all employees’ ability to create results, see the impact of their work, have a role in decisions affecting their work and the results of those decisions, and contributes to and utilizes their knowledge and expertise and those of their colleagues.

  8. Integrated Team Proposal • Includes variable groups of people who interact and bring information and knowledge to the group • Responsibility – Integrate and coordinate employee development across the Agency. • Job is NOT to approve/disapprove any efforts but to ensure that any effort is connected, coherent, and consistent. • Direct connection to Agency Learning Committee
