Gray Wolves

Gray Wolves. Gray Wolves are2-2.5 feet tall and their bodies are between 4-5 feet long. Male Wolves weigh about 90 pounds. Female Wolves weigh about 80 pounds. Gray Wolves can run 35 m.p.h and can jump 12 feet. Within 3 to 5 months the young pups are able to travel with the pack.

  1. Gray Wolves • Gray Wolves are2-2.5 feet tall and their bodies are between 4-5 feet long. • Male Wolves weigh about 90 pounds. • Female Wolves weigh about 80 pounds. • Gray Wolves can run 35 m.p.h and can jump 12 feet. • Within 3 to 5 months the young pups are able to travel with the pack.

  2. Striped Skunks • Skunks have long claws on their front feet for digging. • Males are larger than females, growing up to 2 and a half feet long. • Skunks are mostly nocturnal. • A skunks burrow usually has 5 entrances. • Skunks only have a few predators.

  3. Eastern Screech Owls • They are red or gray. • They eat a variety of small animals. • Some males, will mate with 2 different females. • The second female may evict the first female, lay her own eggs in the nest, and incubate both clutches. • They eat a variety of songbirds.
