  2. Tornado Facts • A Tornado is small violent storm that starts over land. In a Tornado, winds begin to move in a circle. They may go as fast 500 miles an hour. The winds make a tall , dark cloud in the shape of a funnel. The bottom of the funnel may touch the ground. • Tornadoes are one of the most destructive and deadly types of all weather.

  3. Safety Rules • Go to a basement is possible, if you do not have a basement go to the first floor in a small inside room. • Stay away from windows. • Get under a sturdy table. • Do not go into a parked car.
