  2. The date of birth of Bajrang Punia is on 26 February 1994. His birthplace is in Khudanvillage, which is in the Jhajjar district ofHaryana.

  3. At the age of 7, the child began the coaching of wrestling. He went to akhaada after bunking the school.

  4. The young boy began to win several events and received small amounts. Later, he was supported by the famous wrestler YogeshwarDutt when Bajrang Punia faced financial crises.

  5. The fighter got his primary training from coach Shri Mahabaleshwar Pal at Chatshal Stadium In 2014, he went to Yogeshwar Academy for his personal growth.

  6. Bajrang Punia has won two bronze and one silver medals in World championships. He has received one gold and one silver medals at the Commonwealth Games.

  7. Bajrang Punia has successfully won gold and silver medals at the Asian Games. The athlete has attained a gold medal in Asian Indoor and Martial Art Games.

  8. In 2015, the Government of India praised him with the Arjuna Award. The Indian sportsperson was appreciated with Padma Shri Awardee in 2019.

  9. He achieved a Silver medal at the 2019 World Wrestling Championships. Subsequently, the athlete was recognized as World No. 1 in the 65 kg category.

  10. Bajrang Punia also became the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Awardee in 2019. He is an inspiration to many emerging wrestlers around the world.
