  9. Competition Comparison

  10. Typical Applications • Entrained air/vapors • Released by mixing chemicals • Food processing • Dissolved Air Flotation • Evaporators • Low flow or varying flow • one pump serving 2 lines • seasonal demand changes • Shear sensitive Fluids

  16. VACUUM EVAPORATOR

  17. Entrained Air Application Capacity Correction with flooded suction: • approx.. direct ratio of the % entrained air. Capacity Correction w/ 20 ft suction lift: • approx. 2.5 times % entrained air.

  18. Entrained Air Application TDH Correction: As a rule of thumb, you can use the entrained air percentage to the 2.5 power to correct the differential head at the best efficiency point of the pump. The head loss will be more both at lower and higher flows.

  19. Lip Seals or Labyrinth seals Customer sold on labyrinth…… Sell him on the advantages of the Impro bearing seals that last forever. Your after market sales…….$0.00 Other customers (LaBour majority) Sell him on using only LaBour “CR Wave” type lip seals, instead of the “cheap” lip seals purchased from bearing houses Your aftermarket sales $ 50.00+ pp/year
