ASPIRE • Holding steady during economic crisis • Funding from State, TG from Texas, and the Oregon Community Foundation • Currently at 104 sites - will increase to 115 • Last year 1500+ volunteers mentored 9,000+ students and 61,000+ students attended workshops or received “drop-in” help • Online training for site coordinators and volunteers

4. ASPIRE and Access Programs • Two new pilot programs funded by GEAR UP • eASPIRE targets schools that face challenges recruiting local volunteers • Getting Ready to ASPIRE for middle school students

5. 2010-11OpportunitiesBooklets • ECMC will continue partnership with OSAC to provide National and Oregon-specific booklets (available September, 2010) • Order online at www.GetCollegeFunds.org • ECMC will also continue 2010 College Night in Oregon statewide

OSAC eApp Update • Online application = faster processing and less errors • 99.5% of 2009 apps filed online • Applicants can scan & upload electronic copies of transcripts and other documents • High school registrars can upload transcripts via OSAC’s secure web portal or IDTS • 12,500+ apps started to date – 61.7% increase from last year

OSAC eApp Update • Improvements • New scholarship sort filters – County of Residence and GPA • Ability to view uploaded documents to ensure accuracy • Extra docs collected only if applicant enters competition • CIS Activities Chart data can be imported • Receive alerts • Twitter.com/OSAC or become a Facebook Fan

OSAC eApp Update • e-Student Profile created by each applicant that provides a web portal for the student to: • Verify OSAC’s receipt of eApp, transcripts, and required documents • check application status and scholarships awarded • Accept awards • Update prior-year applications • Students must check back and take action, until get “Valid eApp Accepted” message
