  2. Heritage MoynaGarh Raashmela will be held at MoynaGarh, West Bengal. From 14 TH November – 28 November,2016

Introduction Moyna Garh(Fort)--- an island within an island, situated in the ancient city-port of Tamralipta, now East Midnapore District of Tamluk Subdivision in West Bengal, India, stands amidst lushgreen meadows and moats, with nature’s bounty pouring from all sides. Heritage Moyna Garh is reminiscent of legendary king Lausen (10th Century AD during the reign of Palas) and Raashmela which is held under the aegis of The Bahubalindra dynasty of Balisita (1434) who came here in 1561 – 62 AD ; commences on 14th November, 2016 with the King of Moyna Garh Lord Krishna, beginning His annual bathing journey with His royal entourage on the auspicious day of Kartiki Purnima, in the month of Kartik.   Decked in His Royal garb along with His Divine consort “Radha” the King proceeds towards the Raash Manch on a boat accompanied with musical band where puja is performed with full spirituality. Vibrant, colourful, firework display lightens the entire area on the full moon night depicting a spectacular extravaganza for one’s eye. Masses gather in huge numbers to witness this Royal event which has a mesmerizing effect on them, so much so, that they all enjoy this event and the subsequent fair attached along with it.

  4. People from all walks of life attend this annual fair in large numbers with full fervour and enthusiasm. Handmade artefacts handloom products, food items and numerous products are displayed in respective stalls. Cultural programmes are held which is an added attraction of this fair including classical, folk and tribal dances, theatre etc. This fair is a unique example of congregation of humans belonging to all races, religion and culture ,depicting mutual love, tolerance and harmony towards one another in times of distress and unrest. So come and witness this memorable Royal event in MoynaGarh and luxuriate in His Heavenly glory.

Gates to be built at every 5 Kms on National Highway. • Colourful, decorative replica of temples in 25 feet to 40 feet height. • Each gate will have names of Rishis, shlokas, preachings of Lord Krishna and different messages from BhagavadGita. • These will be located at road crossing, highway and junctions, covering all entry points. • 2 pillars each having panel of 6’x4’ gate on both sides. Total display panels 8 per gate.
