  5. Question Ask what you want to find out as you read.

  6. Read Read for understanding – keep your questions and predictions in mind.

  7. Recite Tell or write about what you learned from reading.

  8. Review Look back at the predictions you made, the questions you asked, the answers you found, and the information you learned.
