  2. National Dredging Team • Federal interagency group • Established in 1995 to: • Promote national and regional consistency on dredging issues • Provide forum for conflict resolution and information exchange early in the dredging process • Facilitate creation and operations RDTs and LPGs

  3. National Dredging Policy • The regulatory process must be timely, efficient, and predictable. • Advanced dredged material management must be conducted on a regional basis. • Dredged material managers must become more involved in watershed planning. • Dredged material should be viewed as a resource.
