  3. Grades Count • All classes will carry credits that count for graduation. Mandatory classes that are not passed must be retaken before graduation. • Make a Plan • Freshmen need a minimum of 5 credits to be considered a true sophomore. • High School Classes Colleges Look For • ( this may take awhile to load)

  4. Take the Explore & PLAN tests!! • On October 16, 2013, all Ross freshmen will be given the Explore test and Sophomores will take the PLAN free of charge. These tests are a practice ACT which is the test your student will need to take if he or she is planning on going to a four- year college. Explore & PLAN results will provide information that will help students improve their odds on the ACT.

  5. Begin to research your college and career interests • Use the “Web Resources” tab on the guidance website at: http://www.fremontschools.net/StudentServices/GuidanceCounselors/Web_Resources.asp This tab offers a wealth of information regarding planning for your students future.
