  2. There is a green oak at Lukomorye, It has a golden chain on it, A clever cat walks on the chain In the afternoon and at night… It starts to sing to the right, It tells a fairy tale to the left. There are wonders and miracles, A leshiywalks… There is a mermaid sitting On the branches…

  3. There are traces of Unusual animals On the unknown tracks… There is an old house on chicken legs With no windows and no doors…

  4. There is a forest full of visions, The sea waves break at the dawn of day, And thirty handsome heroes Come out of waters With their leader. The prince captures the terrible king, The wizard is carrying the hero In the sky over the forests And over the seas…

  5. The sad princess is in prison, And the brown wolf is her faithful servant. The mortar with Baba Yaga Is walking on its own there… The tsar Kaschey is guarding his treasure… There is a Russian spirit And a Rus scent there.

  6. I was there, too,And I drank honey,I saw the green oak by the sea…And I sat under it,The clever cat toldIts fairy tales to me…
