  2. For over 30 years, Dorotea Reyna worked in the field of higher education as a teacher, advisor, and fund developer. Dorotea Reyna held positions in Institutional Advancement and focused on raising funds for student’s scholarships, academic programs, and capital projects.

  3. Dorotea’s primary career commitment has been to create access to higher education for minority students, and she has taught, advised, and mentored hundreds of students.

  4. Dorotea Reyna is also a published poet and playwright, and for the past 11 years, she has trained as a powerlifter and strength athlete. She worked as a Vice President of Advancement and Director of Development at California Institute of Integral Studies San Francisco, CA.

  5. Dorotea Reyna has also done volunteer work including Pro-bono fundraising consulting for various universities and non-profit organizations in California.
