Framing the Task 13% of San Mateo County Adults age 19-65 report being uninsured The total number of uninsured adults is between 60,000-80,000 The number of uninsured adults has increased significantly in recent years San Mateo County Blue Ribbon Task Force on Adult Health Care Coverage Expansion

Framing the Task:Board of Supervisors’ Charge To explore options for providing comprehensive health care access and/or insurance to uninsured adults in San Mateo County living at or below 400% Federal Poverty Level; and to bring recommendations to the Board of Supervisors by July 2007 San Mateo County Blue Ribbon Task Force on Adult Health Care Coverage Expansion
