  2. The red color stands for valor and strength. • The white color stands for peace and honesty and for royalty and nobility • The blue color is associated with caring for the poor by the rich. • Frances population is 65.7 million people. • France became a country in 1792.

  3. France-Map • France is located in southwestern Europe. • France’s neighboring countries are Germany, Luxemburg, Switzerland, Italy, and Belgium. • The Pyrenees Mountains form the border with Spain. • France’s bodies of water are the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean.

  4. France’s landmarks!!!!!!! • The Eiffel Tower is a manmade landmark. • Mont Saint-Michel is a famous island castle. • France’s capital is Paris and has many landmarks including: • The Eiffel Tower, The Louvre, and Notre Dame • The castle of Versailles was used for French Kings

Interesting stuff!!!!! • Typical French Foods: • Baguette: long bread stick • Croque Monsieur/Croque Madame: ham and cheese grilled sandwich while Croque Madame is the more heavy version with ham, cheese and a fried egg on top • Escargots: snails • Foie Gras: Goose liver pate • Pain au chocolat: similar to a croissant filled with chocolate • Crepes: French very thin pancakes with filling • Ratatouille: vegetable stew France uses the Euro for it’s money and it looks like:
