  1. How to Make an Accordion Book

  2. Materials • Paper • Ruler • Scissors or X-acto knife • Cardstock • Glue

  3. Diagram of Finished Acc. Book • We will be making an 8 page accordion book……

  4. Step One Fold paper in half and crease the edge, using a ruler.

  5. Step Two Fold one end to meet the center fold, creasing the edge of the paper.

  6. Step Three Now reverse the direction of this fold.

  7. Step Four Fold the new fold up to meet the center fold.

  8. Step Five Fold the end to the center fold.

  9. Step Six Repeat with the other end fold. You will now have an 8 page accordion fold book.

  10. Making the Cover

  11. Making the Cover, part one Glue decorative paper to piece of cardstock, cut to the size of the book. Fold, crease and glue tapered sides of the decorative paper around the edges of the cardstock.

  12. Making the Cover, part two Glue covers to ends, onto the first and last page of accordion book. Voila! You are now ready to fill your book!
