Jane Doe took hold of the chainsaw. I wonder how messy this will be, she thought. She opened the door softly and stepped quietly into the room. She thought of her last husband and a time when her life had been much simpler. Jane moved quietly to the edge of the bed where the man lay sleeping, then smiling coldly, she pulled the cord and brought the chainsaw to life.
