The Graduation-Rate Total Cohort, shown on the Graduation Rate page, is used to determine if a school or district made AYP in graduation rate. For the 2010–11 school year, this cohort is the 2006 graduation-rate total cohort. The 2006 total cohort consists of all students who first entered Grade 9 anywhere in the 2006–07 school year, and all ungraded students with disabilities who reached their seventeenth birthday in the 2006–07 school year, and who were enrolled in the school/ district for five months or longer or who were enrolled in the school/district for less than five months but were previously enrolled in the same school/district for five months or longer between the date they first entered Grade 9 and the date they last ended enrollment.
