  1. Child beggars

  2. Children are the future of Pakistan. But child begging in Pakistan is increasing day by day. • It has become a profession in all parts of our country including educational institutes, parks, busy markets and even in the public transport. • A large number of our beggars are children under the age of 10 years. They mostly request necessities such as money, food and clothing • When they should be playing with toys, learning to read and write. As they have nothing, they are forced to begging and collecting garbage.

  3. What is the future of this nation? • Well, the future is the girl who knocks on your window convincing you to buy flowers. • The future is the little boy who walks around frantically looking for car windows that he can clean in order to save himself from getting abused by his “bosses” running the beggary business. • They’re given flowers and wipers to make a living at the age of 9 or 13. • Yes, the future of Pakistan is on the streets.

  4. This poor girl cant walk because of her badly crooked spine and broken legs. she slides on the ground using her hands. • Beggar gangs often mutilate babies or infants by breaking bones etc since they can then be used to more money! this despicable practice is prevalent all over south asia.

  5. Actions taken by government • The Punjab Government is taking the initiative of helping these children by providing them with incentives in order for them to reach the same level as other children. • However, this initiative was taken in May 2010. Nearly, six months have passed and the kids are still on the street.
