  2. A big THANK YOU to all • For successfully completing the 2009 round of UNECE gender questionnaire • Received to date complete data set from 35 countries • Partial data set from 16 countries and still receiving • No response from 1 country

  3. Uploading data from Gender Q 2009 • Completed uploading 7 out of 8 domains • Updating footnotes simultaneously • Ongoing with the remaining data that is trickling in • The only domain left to upload is Work and Economy • To date have uploaded 54,000 cells

Interesting facts on UNECE Gender Statistics DB • Always on top of the search list in Google, normally holding the first position • New data validation rules to capture incorrect data uploading • New version of the web site hosting data dissemination software include new features to access data

Key findings of the 2009 user survey (compared to 2008) • 84% (80%) of respondents rated the overall quality of data as good or excellent • 77% (63%) of respondents were satisfied with the timeliness • 91% (88%) were satisfied with the metadata provided • 95% (85%) found information in the database highly/partially relevant to their needs
